Board of Directors
A Board of Directors, composed of Merri-Loo parents, administers the school.
The board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Fundraising Coordinator, and Registrar and meets once a month with the Director and Teachers in the Merri-Loo classroom. Board meetings are a great way to stay informed about the happenings at Merri-Loo. They are held once monthly.

Our 2021 - 2022 Board:
President - Ellen Podgorsky
The President organizes and presides over all board meetings and oversees all aspects of running the school, including all special events. They also oversee the duties of the Handy person and the yearbook editors.
Vice President -Michelle Kolenski
The Vice President oversees over all board meetings when the president is unable to attend. They will create the snack schedule for both the Nursery and Pre-K classes. They are in charge of ordering all of the school t-shirts. The Vice-President also oversees all of the Parent Helpers and create their schedules. All media and news correspondence, social media and advertisements are overseen by the Vie President.
Treasurer - Erin Weinelt
The Treasurer handles all financial matters, including working with the school accountant. In addition, they work with the purchasing agent. Accounting experience is preferred for this position, but is not necessary.
Secretary - Samantha Dumensil
The secretary records, types and distributes all board meeting minutes in a timely manner. The secretary also organizes and readies the agenda for every board meeting. The secretary oversees and trains all of the cleaners, including making the cleaning schedules, keeps track, organizers and orders all of the cleaning supplies. They will also mix all of the cleaning solution used by the cleaners.
Registrar - Amanda Pierce
The registrar handles all aspects of registering students, including giving tours to prospective students, if needed. They are in charge of updating and copying the school handbook and tuition payment book. They collect and file all of the students health forms for the state and ensures that they are up to date. The registrar types up and keeps track of all class lists and labels all of the children's cubbies. They are also in charge of collecting the mail 2 to 3 times a week and distributing it to the Director.
Fundraising Chair - Jennifer Sullivan
The Fundraising Coordinator organizes and schedules all fundraisers and solicits donations as needed. They are in charge of maintaining all fundraising records. They are responsible for the Box Tops for Education and Amazon Smile.
